The image most of us have of a frontier cabin is of a rustic log home nestled in a peaceful mountain valley or on a sweeping green plain. It is adorned with patchwork quilts, butter churns and cast-iron pots. While the reality was that frontier homes were often drafty, uncomfortable and dirty. This was especially true for homesteaders who built their cabins after their long journey to the west.

When it comes to building the perfect rustic cabin, you need to have the right materials and skills. These cabins are constructed of hand hewn logs that have been carefully notched, peeled and chinked. They are a wonderful choice for anyone who wants a truly authentic experience.
The logs for these cabins were cut from American chestnut or oak. They were then joined together with wooden dovetails and nailed in place. Unlike modern homes that are made of wood composite, these log cabins are very durable and can last for generations. In fact, some of them are still standing today, like the cabin 8th Virginia Colonel Abraham Bowman built in 1779 or 1780.

The Senna Cabin is a unique take on the McLaren 720S that pays homage to legendary Formula One driver Ayrton Senna. It is the most extreme version of McLaren’s road-legal track-focused coupe and features genuine carbon-fibre seats, pedals and steering wheel from a real Senna LM car. Its dihedral doors open upward and forward, revealing a portion of the roof to ease entry. The driving position is well-suited to a racecar, with a wide range of seat adjustability and fore/aft sliding for second-row passengers. Optional four-zone climate control keeps the interior comfortable despite a minuscule amount of cargo space in back.
Across the cockpit, gloss carbon fiber components are augmented by Papaya Orange alcantara and gold paddle shifters with LM badging. The only major drawback is the emergency braking performance, which can feel grabby at times.
